Our Process
1. ON-SITE CONSULTATION:
Thank you for inquiring with us to discuss your vision for your backyard retreat. We will set up a time and visit your home for a meet and greet with you and your family. We listen carefully to your wants and needs, take measurements, and weigh pros and cons on the fly with you. We always invite pool inspiration pictures and/or ideas to bring up at the initial site meeting. We know what works, and what doesn’t. Don’t be surprised if we talk you out of a product or idea and we can explain why!
2. QUOTING PROCESS:
After the initial site visit, Element Pools will need a few days to compile all of your ideas on your custom pool project into a quotation. With a project of this size, it is important to know what can or cannot fit into your budget without any surprises. Our company vision for honesty, integrity and transparency will be evident at this stage onward.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATION:
There is typically some back and forth on product selections after the initial quotation. We are happy to work with you and your family as long as it takes to fit in as many wants/needs as possible. Once everything looks good, a 45% ordering deposit is taken upon signing an INGROUND POOL CONTRACT with Element Pools. We will go through the entire build process with you as long as it takes, to ensure you are satisfied before proceeding. We are not your average sales team. We have a (pool) builder-minded sales approach that has proven to be appreciated by pool customers for years. We take pride in knowing that the product we are delivering will not only stand the test of time, but will be appreciated for the lifetime of your pool.
4. 3D CONCEPTUAL DESIGN:
A swimming pool is a large investment, and you deserve a top-notch, detailed pool design with every pool package sold. Not only does this allow for slight design alterations, but our designs will also give you some insight/inspiration on landscaping plans once the pool build is done. We work with many award-winning landscape companies and would be happy to coordinate any landscaping required to complete your backyard retreat.
5. ORDERING/DELIVERING PRODUCT:
Your pool kit will be ordered and typically takes 4-6 weeks for everything to arrive. We always communicate and coordinate the delivery of pool products to your yard/garage well ahead of time. It is important for us to have everything on site for efficiency purposes. These items will be tucked away neatly so that we can have you swimming in no time!
6. CONSTRUCTION TIMELINES:
As we approach ‘DIG DAY’, Element Pools will keep you in the loop on our ongoing and ever-changing schedule to inform you on an approximate job start date. We do our best to streamline this, however, with factors such as weather and saturated dump sites, the schedule may be shuffled slightly. We will always schedule a pool mark-out with you in advance to spray out the pool and concrete decking locations. Accessory gas lines and electrical locations will have been marked at this time as well. We are now ready to start your pool build!
